about

Zwicker aka Cyril Boehler is a very prolific producer, composer and dj from Zuerich. He is part of the vital Zuerich electronic scene and has been involved in countless productions that received praise from a worldwide audience. Under his moniker "Tweak" he released the Album "Hybrid Organics" (2001, Straight Ahead).
After a handful of successful vinyl Zwicker releases on the renownend labels BearFunk, Compost Black Label and Get Physical it was time to refine the warm mixture of mutated Disco, House, Electro and Pop on a full length album.
On this "Songs Of Lucid Dreamers EP1" you find four tracks (Extended Versions) from his upcoming album "Songs Of Lucid Dreamers", which will be released end of april on Compost Records.
This is sublime electronic pop at it's best!

"Oddity" feat. Olivera Stanimirov
A catchy disco tune based on bassline, guitar fragments, scissors samples and Xylophone.
On top Olivera sings like a country-boogie dancefloor queen about plastic surgery.

"Traumdeuter" feat. Matt Didemus
In this instrumental we explore the subconsciousness in a dark and slow disco tempo. After some collaborations with Matt Didemus (Junior Boys) this moody piece resulted in a perfect match of Junior Boys basslines and Zwicker tweakings.

"Sui's Knee" feat. Jamie Lloyd
A sexy house track with Jamie's fresh vocal harmonies and surprising twists and turns.

"Dragon Fly" feat. Billy Oden
Deep in the jungle we get lost in our dreams, where white crocodiles and millipedes cross our way. The text is about the nightmares we have about our close ones getting hurt, so this track is dedicated to Zwicker's son Ryu (Ryu= jap. dragon).
