about

Hotly tipped newcomer from Vienna haunting the minds of all clubbers and Djs with this fine deep mad Compost Black Label release. Ogris Debris are Gregor Ladenhauf and Daniel Kohlmeigner. Since 2000 Gregor is - under the moniker "Zanshin" - as a DJ and musician around, and part of the duo "Depart" (depart.at), which are known for audiovisual performances and media-art at various European festivals. Daniel has several projects, together with Black Dub he's producing next level dub, or with the live-tanzband Elektro Guzzi he just recorded an album at Patrick Pulsinger?s studio. His first release 2003 was Defbringa on Mueller Records. Both are members of the Selected Headz Kollektive in Vienna, since 2002 they teamed up for different projects and many national or international live gigs and events. 2004 till 2007 they found, guided and runned a weekly clubnight, called "Motor", with guests like Modeselektor, L'usine and others, while presented their own live acts at "Motor" in certain line ups.

Since 2008 they concentrate on live gigs and various studio work. Especially they've put lot of energy, patience and blood in their live-act, where parts are really live (no preset laptop act) and represented with physical body action, vocals, oozing energy.
Ogris Debris live: laptop, Elektron Machinedrum, Roland MC-505, Elektron Monomachine, Sherman Filterbank, Roland Space Echo, Vox.

With this 2-tracker Ogris Debris is taking you into a spaced-out and captivating house journey. "G-Thong" is a mad hypnotic deep vox tune which builds and builds, worth to check the mad uplifting synth solo. On the flipside you get this brilliant house corker called "Hide Open" already in demand requested by few labels, but we are proud to have it here...my dear.
