On Black Label #13 you return to the Italo-Space-Pizza-Disco sound you had so much fun with on release #7... Once again Phreek Plus One invites you to a „Phreek Party“ and takes you on a mythical clubbing tour through legendary italian nightlife spots like the Cosmic, Typhoon or Baia Degli Angeli. On your journey back in time you shake your body to disco boogie tunes with heavy influences from electro and afro funky music.
For those who don’t know: Phreek Plus One are Ivan Savoldi, (DJ and producer – his DJ sets mainly built around Deep House, Funk, Disco and Neojazz), Alessandro Cattenati (Sounddesigner and connoisseur of Jazz, Funk, Disco and Brazil music) and Giovanni Guerretti (Keyboards from Old to Nu Jazz).

When tracks like „Shake“ or „Boogie Beat“ left you sweat dripping and out of breath on the dancefloor be sure to keep your respirator and a big towel in reach because the Cosmic Slope EP picks you up where the last release stopped. The typical slow motion disco track „Phreek Party“ is only a nice introduction to the whipping space bass monster tune „Laser Rock“ – your name may not be Grace Jones but you will be slave to the rhythm! Not enough? The last track „Back To Fatback“ keeps you groovin to some Larry Levanish keys, drums and cow bells. Sounds like the guys try to prove that that the Paradise Garage was built in Lazise...
